Goal

Empire Training Center for the Arts (ETCA) is a new not-for-profit workforce development initiative for technical and administrative jobs in the performing arts, founded by veteran arts leaders, Trish Santini (Little Island, Guthrie Theater, TMG--The Marketing Group, Dodger Theatricals) and Frank Butler (The Shed, Guthrie Theater, American Repertory Theater).

We are currently recruiting and accepting adult students for the first cohort of our technical track -- training students as stagehands, audio technicians, and video technicians -- launching in July 2025. In 2026, we plan to recruit a second cohort for the technical track and shortly thereafter launch the administrative track, which will train in communications, fundraising, and company management.

Please join us in supporting this next generation of professionals joining the workforce by contributing to our campaign today.

We thank you in advance for your generosity.
