Dear friends and family,

For 34 years, the ESLC has been providing free English language classes to low-income adult immigrants and refugees across Salt Lake County. But with our focus on two-way mutual integration, our classes are about much more than learning English. We aim to break language and cultural barriers in order to create a community where ALL voices are celebrated.

I work in our Empowering Parents Program, which gives immigrant and refugee parents the tools necessary to be involved in their children's education - from understanding a report card to reading with their children.

September is also Adult Education and Family Literacy Month, so I am inviting YOU to join us in offering free and accessible adult education classes. Help integrate and strengthen communities by donating today!
