I am returning to Westfield this year to support MissionCleanWater in its crucial efforts to supply safe, reliable drinking water to families in Uganda.

The stark reality is that for nearly one billion people worldwide, ready access to potable water does not exist, and the inevitable consequence of that reality is that enormous efforts must be made to attain it. This responsibility is often assigned to children, who spend their days transporting water instead of attending school, perpetuating the twin cycles of poverty and undereducation. 

To symbolize the outsized effort it takes for so many to acquire this critical resource, I am attempting to complete 100 miles in 24 hours and to raise enough money to fund a new water project in Uganda through MissionCleanWater.
