Goal

Having worked at Zarach for just over a year, I'm taking my fundraising from behind a desk and joining a team of staff from our corporate partner Engie, running the Great Knaresborough Bed Race on June 14th.

Our mission is to end child bed poverty, a situation that over 900,000 children in the UK are currently living in. I'll let Bex and Scott give you an idea what we're about:

I've set myself the target of £450 which will provide three beds and bed bundles. My children are incredibly fortunate to have beds of their own, so I wanted to set a target that would help a family just like ours that isn't currently afforded that luxury.

This event is an brilliant opportunity for Zarach as a charity, to raise the profile of child bed poverty at a race that has bed in the name. It really is the perfect match!
The Great Knaresborough Bed Race is something different: it is part fancy dress pageant and part gruelling time trial over a 2.4-mile course, ending with a swim through the icy waters of the River Nidd.

Zarach is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) in England & Wales, number 1179539, whose registered address is 8 Whitehouse Street, Hunslet, Leeds, LS10 1AD.
