For too long horse racing hid the deaths of race horses especially during workouts....racing conditions it’s “fans” to accept death as part of the “sport”.... They erect statues, bury them at the track, paint pictures of the horse and their grooms ( like Go for Wand) write children’s books about horses breaking down on the track & getting a new career. {& yes I have that book} everything to get the public to accept break downs and death—why did it take until 2019 for the public to be outraged? Keep reporting on the deaths and lies the horse racing industry tell the public because attitudes are changing....
