Without your support, none of what we do at Lucks Rescue would be possible. Dade County has no animal shelter and no animal control, and because of that, countless animals face situations no creature should ever endure. We are often their only hope and with you standing beside us, we’re able to give them the second chance they deserve.

In 2026, we are taking a bold and exciting step forward: purchasing property and beginning the journey of building our very own animal shelter. This will be a monumental milestone for our community and for every life we save. Right now, we can only rescue dogs when fosters are available, which limits how many animals we can pull out of danger. Having a dedicated shelter space will finally allow us to save more lives, respond to emergencies faster, and create lasting change for the animals of Dade County.

Together, we can make this vision a reality and give our community the lifesaving resource it has needed for far too long.
