Goal

We pledge to continue to support the local women in North Sumatra, as they aspire to achieve their dreams.

We do this by continuing to provide women with much needed training and work experience,  giving them new skills to create opportunities to reach their full potential.

Training and work experience is the key! This program is held at  Batu Kapal and offers women skills and experience in hospitality, environmental management, reforestation and nursery activities, sustainable waste management, recycling and upcycling micro business opportunities, English language and information technology.

Our program gives the women confidence to seek employment in local guest houses, as local guides and rangers, or to start their own homestay, warung (local eating house), plant nursery, eco-trekking tour company or sustainable micro business.

During their placement, the women are paid an allowance and their food and accommodation are provided for them.

We need your support to continue this wonderful program to make a difference to these women's lives.

Please join with us to improve the lives of these beautiful young women in Sumatra by making a donation to fund materials or to support a trainee's monthly costs.

Together we can inspire these young women and girls that I have met during my time in North Sumatra, to never give up on their dreams.

We have already made many improvements to the lives of the people in these remote villages and for that I am truly grateful.

Thank you for your continued support.

With best wishes
