Edgar Miller Legacy 10th Anniversary Gala with DPAM

Edgar Miller Legacy (EML) is thrilled to partner with DePaul Art Museum (DPAM) for the Legacy’s 10th Anniversary Gala. This year's benefit event will take place on Thursday, September 12th, from 5-7pm at DPAM, located at 935 West Fullerton in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. 

Join us as we celebrate ten years of stewarding the legacy of Edgar Miller and advancing the appreciation of his life and work. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit EML and help us continue to preserve and educate the public about the art and design of Edgar Miller. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit DPAM, host of the gala and the exhibition on Edgar Miller. 

Your critical support will allow EML to continue to develop its programs and educational opportunities, and to provide scholars, artists, and members of the public with access to EML’s archive and its ongoing research. 

This year's gala event will be a “first look” preview and take place just before the public opening of the exhibition Edgar Miller: Anti-Modern 1917-1967, as well as the companion exhibition featuring contemporary artists, The Spaces We Call Home. 

Registered attendees will be the first to have the opportunity to view nearly 100 pieces of original artwork and design across both exhibitions and enjoy a festive evening of food and drinks, which will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. 

There will be short remarks at 6:15pm to honor some of the community champions and creative spirits who have helped make the past ten years of EML such a success.
