Goal

“You can rebuild a ruined home, but you can’t piece together the broken soul of a child.”

We're facing a state of emergency.

ELEM, which has always provided critical mental health support in emergency situations, has expanded its online services and is providing as much support as possible to our youth to try and mitigate trauma. Some youths have been evacuated, and some have seen their families die right in front of them.

The number of youths reaching out for help has tripled, while we also experience a shortage of manpower since many of our staff members have been called to duty.

Your support at this time will allow us to replenish our van fleet (2 of our vans were destroyed at the Nova Music Festival), which is crucial as we're opening multiple pop-up locations for evacuated youth. We've already seen hundreds attend the initial locations.

We also need funds to allow for additional pop-up locations, hiring more staff (many of our staff were called to serve), providing humanitarian aid for young mothers at risk, and more.

The picture above is of one of two ELEM Outreach Vans that were destroyed at the Nova Music Festival—the same festival where our volunteers Lior, Sigal, and Yonatan were killed, while doing their job - assisting youth in distress at the party.
