In Rakhine state of Myanmar, there are people who have been unable to have access to food/clean water, shelter, education and basic human rights for decades. These "stateless" people are called Rohingya, who are predominantly Muslims and suffer from systematic violence, torture, rape and discrimination. According to the UN, an estimated 860,000 Rohingya people are living in displacement and 600,000 people are still in Rakhine, forgotten and abused. With the outbreak of pandemic, the number of refugees seeking shelters are on the rise. We kindly urge you to joins us on this journey to set up a safe and secure environment for refugees where they can feel that they are protected.
