Emergency: Heat Dome Response

An extreme weather event known as a "Heat Dome" is about to blanket the Northeast with temperatures between 90-100 degrees. This high pressure event creates stagnant air that causes heat to linger throughout the night with temperatures expected to remain in the 70's in the evening and early morning.

 Among those most at risk are our unhoused neighbors and those without access to air conditioning.

Needlepoint Sanctuary of Maine Maine is raising funds to support water distribution and cooling efforts of local organizations in Maine- funds raised in excess of our goals will be used to support groups in New England.
