Low Rider Dachshund Rescue of Florida is made up entirely of volunteers. As such, we are able to keep the overhead expenses to a minimum, allowing your donation to have the maximum impact for the dogs! Each dog is fully vetted. They receive a dental exam, vaccines, blood and fecal tests, microchip, medications as needed, and even surgeries. 

Our adoption fees don't come close to covering the vet bills that are paid almost daily. In April, we had some 60 dogs in our care. Many of those are forever fosters and the rest are undergoing treatment until such time as they are ready for adoption. If you can help us replenish our emergency fund, it is greatly appreciated.
