Emergency Flood Relief

On July 20th, 2026, flash floods swept through idyllic villages across Nooristan Province, Afghanistan, leaving behind a path of destruction. Families have lost loved ones, children have been displaced, homes have been washed away, and many survivors are now without food, shelter, clean water, and basic necessities. Video footage of the capital city, Parun, show scenes of devastation and sorrow.

The Nooristan Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has experience implementing programs in Afghanistan since 1999, has launched an Emergency Flood Relief Campaign to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to families and communities affected by these catastrophic floods.
