Unfortunately in early September, one of our local families homes burned down. Although unsure of the cause, it is thought it may have been a faulty wire that sparked the flames. The family lost everything in this fire, it was very tough for everyone involved.
Fortunately, the villagers have all been a wonderful support to each other, and CKF was also able to assist with some emergency supplies kept on hand for such occasions. Had this happened in any of the surrounding villages, it would have been a very different story!!
This fundraiser is to ensure that we can continue to assist this family and other families like them, when an emergency arises. The Cambodian Kids Foundation offers support by way of:
* Emergency supplies
* Clothing
* Food
* Emergency accommodation
* Plus much more....
Funds raised will help this family replace any furniture, clothing, kitchen appliances etc they have lost in the fire, as well as support them with the re-build of their new home.
We are aiming to raise $5,000 to help this family and any others in need in the near future. All funds donated to the Cambodian Kids Foundation go directly over to Cambodia where they are needed most!
