EMERGENCY APPEAL - TRANQUILITY EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED:

Assalaamu Alaikum everyone (May peace be with you) - 

I hope to be flying out the second week of March to Turkey with IAC's second team of volunteers from the US and the UK to help with the current situation. I have gone on missions in the past, and the work that volunteers do is truly remarkable. By being there, we help those who are suffering feel human.

AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! 

We need to continue to raise funds to provide funds for:

- Emergency Aid Kits

- Food Items

- Blankets

- Temporary Shelter

- Clothing

- Hygiene Products

- Baby Items and Formula

While I want to put those impacted by the earthquake first, I also personally need your help covering the costs of this trip as it is expensive. If you would like to help me make a difference in people's lives, please comment "sponsorship" in the notes for the donation. Any and all donations are appreciated. 

Every donation, from a dollar to anything more is felt and makes a difference in someone else's life. These people didn't ask for an earthquake to happen, nor did they expect their lives to be flipped upside down by one - especially the children. So let's do our part in trying to bring back a semblance of normalcy.

I will do my best to try to keep account of my experience on this trip to share with you all, whether that is through social media if I have internet access (IG: @yahiarashed), or through journaling so that you can all see the positive change you helped create.

IAC have done support work providing aid on a regular basis in Turkiye for many years.  Our organization has been audited, vetted and recognized by the Turkish Government.  All donations to this cause are tax deductible and Zakat eligible.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ  said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
