Provide Urgent Medical Aid After Damascus Church Bombing
MedGlobal, in partnership with Saint Rita Foundation for children is responding to the urgent medical needs following the horrific attack on Mar Elias Church. Together, we share a deep commitment to stand in solidarity with Syria’s diverse communities and uphold the right to healthcare for all—regardless of faith or background.
On June 22, a suicide bomber struck Mar Elias Church near Damascus, killing at least 25 people and injuring more than 60. Families gathered in prayer were torn apart in an instant. The victims—Christians and Muslims alike—are part of Syria’s diverse and resilient communities.
Dozens remain in critical condition. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced. Urgent support is needed to ensure the injured receive critical medical care.
