DESCRIPTION:
Gather in a safe, meditative, encouraging environment for two hours of creative exploration. These writing workshops, conducted in the Amherst Writers & Artists method, offer an experience that is both grounded and playful, both individual and communal.
These workshops welcome reluctant writers, confident writers, people who don’t like to sit still, people who don’t like to move, religious people, spiritual people, people who kind of cringe at the word “spiritual,” and you.
Workshops are two hours long, with a half-hour orientation at the beginning for newcomers.
** Please register at least 12 hours before the workshop start time. If you register after that time, we cannot guarantee you a place in the workshop. **
Things to know:
This series is not sequential. Drop in to as many as you like.
You will never be pressured to share your writing with others.
Please come prepared with something to write with and something to write on.
