Let’s Do It World (LDIW) is a global organisation that tackles the mismanaged waste crisis by mobilising millions of people, communities, enterprises and governments to create a clean and waste-free future.
LDIW leaders and teams, working mainly as volunteers, have become a force that unites groups, individuals, and organisations that would otherwise have thought such cross-sector cooperation to be impossible.
Our flagship project, World Cleanup Day (WCD), has brought almost 91 million people from 211 countries and territories to work for a common goal. The ultimate aim of WCD is to engage 5% of the world's population to catalyse lasting societal change around waste management.
LDIW’s work has shown that such massive engagement starts transformation in societies, generating cross-sector cooperation to work for sustainable development. WCD proves that, by acting together, it is possible to change the world for the better by making such a unique impact.
