Garret Wassermann is running as a Green Party candidate for Pennsylvania State Representative of the 45th District in the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
Garret's priorities are:
A Green New Deal - let's create good green jobs and infrastructure that will also improve our environment and our health and tackle climate change. We must quickly end our dependence on fossil fuels, including immediately banning fracking and halting all new pipeline development.
An Economic Bill of Rights - let's make sure everyone in our district has food, water, shelter, medicine, and a good job in green infrastructure if they need one. No one should ever go hungry, homeless, or without life-saving medicine like insulin. Everyone needs to have clean water.
Criminal Justice Reform - end cash bail, decriminalize drugs, establish more local police oversight, and other changes needed for a fair system that focuses on restorative justice rather than punitive revenge that is expensive and only makes things worse.
