For more than 15 years, the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival has been regarded as one of the top short film showcases in western Canada. The registered non-profit VISFF Society that produces this festival relies on grant funding and ticket revenue to operate.
However, both of these income streams have been severely impacted this year.
So, for the first time, we are reaching out to short film fans outside of the festival season for support. A donation to the VISFF Society will allow us to ramp up our year-round operations and ensure this festival can continue to be produced for the benefit of Vancouver Island, Canadian, and international filmmakers and film fans every year.
