The Unitarian Universalist Hysterical Society Facebook group is a special corner of the interwebs, where kindness and humour play together. The UUHS group is unique and fun, and we have our professional, super dedicated moderators, Kathy and Lynn to thank. 


A humour group of this size (over 280K!) requires paid moderation. This usually means ads or a paywall, but we do things a little differently. We run a fundraiser: UUHS group members who can afford to support their mods financially are able to do so, and many hands make light work.


The Fine Print

There are some admin costs inherent in running something like the UU Hysterical Society--things like website fees, mailing list costs, and administration.  Those costs are covered by Mirth and Dignity, an organization that supports diverse expressions of UUism.  All of your donation--minus platform fees--goes to our moderators.
