This donation comes after my mother Marianne kindly asked for money to be given to heart charities in lieu of gifts for her 70th birthday. We owe a lot to the amazing sonographer, trained by Tiny Tickers, who detected our daughter Eloise's transposition of the great arteries (TGA) at the 20-week scan. This gave the wonderful staff at Alder Hey and Liverpool Women's Hospital precious time to plan her arrival and treatment. We now have a wonderful two-year-old who is the light of all our lives.
