My son was born in Dubai with truncus arteriousus. After what was the most stressful of months for my wife and I, Alfie was able to come home today having recovered from successful surgery. Whilst Alfie was in hospital we spent all day, every day at his side. A friend of mine put £50 in my bank account for us to spend on food deliveries to makes sure we were eating - however, now the experience is behind us, we’ve decided that we should pay it forward so that we can do a little something towards helping another family dealing with CHD.
