Raise awareness about the effects of single-use plastic and inspire the leaders of tomorrow to solve the waste problem.
Classes are taught in Vietnamese, English or French.
Each class lasts about 1 hour.
During the course a speaker from Zero Waste Saigon will do a short presentation, interact with the students to get their point of view, help them come up with their own solutions and encourage them to become the activists of their future.
We coordinate with teachers to create projects for the students so they can help their school to reduce the use of single-use plastic and food waste at the campus.
1. SETTING GOALS
We discuss with the group of students what easy changes we can put in place first and and help them define what their ultimate goal is.
2. MAKING IT HAPPEN
We help the group of students to achieve their goal and promote their changes to the rest of the students.
3. REVIEWING RESULTS
We help the school and students report and communicate on their achievements. We also review their struggles and how to continue the change.
So far we have taught over 2,000 students in the past 12 months. Help us continue our teaching.
