I won't be silent while my Trans friends are at risk of harm from from proposed Alberta provincial policies that threaten their wellness and very existence. Both the Alberta and Canadian Human Rights Acts explicitly recognize gender identity & expression as protected grounds. It's time to stand up and say no, there is no going back to the dark ages Danielle!

As a non-binary 18 year old, what's happening right now is disgusting. These laws directly harm trans youth, and the UCP knows that, despite trying to sugarcoat it saying "bUt iT pRoTeCtS tHeM". My $10 may not be much, but I hope it helps! Protect trans kids🏳️‍⚧️

Trans Rights are Human Rights, Canada has no room for hate. 🏳️‍⚧️ To any youth reading: you are not alone, you have support and love from so many people and we won’t let you go through this alone. You are perfect the way you are, you deserve respect and safety. Stay strong, stay connected with your support group's, know that you aren’t doing the wrong thing by being yourself. You will find peace, you will find community, you will find love and acceptance.
