Sharing God's love for families through transitional housing
For three decades, Operation HOMES has been a beacon of hope in Medina County, answering Christ's call to love our neighbors by providing shelter, food, and unwavering support to those experiencing homelessness. Together, we've shared 142,700 volunteer hours of God's love, served 65,500 meals, and provided 10,200 nights of shelter. We've weathered storms together, from the Great Recession to the COVID-19 pandemic, and witnessed the transformative power of compassion.
The opening of Medina County's first emergency homeless shelter is a significant step forward. However, we recognize that the need for Christian love and support remains. Operation HOMES is evolving to meet this need, embracing a new calling: providing transitional housing for families in crisis.
Imagine a safe haven where families can find stability, support, and a path to self-sufficiency. Our transitional housing program will offer a structured environment, case management, life skills education, and the enduring Christian love that has defined Operation HOMES for thirty years.
This transformation is a bold undertaking. We need your help to make it a reality.
We are seeking to raise $500,000 to purchase property for our transitional housing program. Your generosity has fueled our mission for three decades, and we humbly ask you to answer the call once more. The future of Operation HOMES and our ability to continue sharing God's love depends on your continued support.
Join us in writing the next chapter of compassion and transformation in Medina County by making your commitment to our campaign today. Together, let's create a brighter future for families in need.
