Tequila Rock 'n Blues Explosion Fests & Events International, & Big Hearts Shows & Events, now almost into our 5th year, headquartered in Canada, but based in Mexico, is very pleased to support Street Animal Rescue in Mexico. One of our Causes since July, 2019.
All our Events are associated with a Cause or Causes. In addition to creating excellent Festivals and Events, we have contributed nearly 200,000 pesos to our Causes since we started. We want to do much more in the future. The 2021-2022 Winter months season is an important year for us in that respect. We've greatly increased the number of Fests will will hold and still want to do more. We term it "Come Together 2021-2022"
The Street Animal problem is a very serious problem...far too many dogs and cats abandoned or homeless. Or in fact dogs and cats born on the street. Statistics online say there are about 23 million homeless dogs and cats on the street.
Funds we raise from our Event profits, from our Fans, and our Online Fundraising will go into our Angeles para Animales Fondo...Animal Angels Fund. It will be used to provide grants to Animal Shelters and Veterinarians in Mexico to take action and provide more Neutering Services and neutering education.
In special cases, the Fund will be utilized to provide serious medical treatment to give street dogs and cats a fuller life. One example of a dog we are still trying to assist is the quiet lovable Blackie whose rear leg was recently broken in an accident in Mexico. You can view that campaign at https://donorbox.org/4-legs-for-blackie/ The performer we pay tribute to on December 11, Isidoro Negrete Reynoso and his wife Susanna, also work with Animal Rescue in Mexico City. We have assisted one dog Milton, with a special medical procedure that was needed. Another dog they shelter, Molly, will have an operation soon.
We are very pleased that animal lover and great blues-rocker, Clay Melton of Houston (@claymeltonmusic on F.B.) has joined us as the face of our past online Video Shows during the Covid 19 period when we had no live shows. In fact, we can say every performer in our Lineup always has come on board to strongly support our work with this Cause. Big Hearts! We Love Them All For That Alone.
