Kicking off the Stratas Foundation's first fundraising campaign, Liam Hunt and Benjamin Cowderoy are cycling 4,500 km across Canada to raise money for mental health research.


All proceeds will go toward funding scholarships and non-repayable grants for early career researchers and young scholars in Canada working in the mental health sciences. 


Funds will be issued to Canadian university post-graduate and undergraduate students, post-doctoral researchers, assistant professors, and private researchers and clinicians working in the Canadian health research space (i.e., Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Institute for Mental Health Policy Research). 


Applicants will be vetted by our Selections Committee in Q3-Q4 2019. A premium will be put on young Canadian applicants and those in the early stages of their health research career.


All donations are overseen and managed by the Stratas Foundation, whose Board of Directors consists of Liam Hunt, Benjamin Cowderoy, and Danika Wagner.
