Goal
There are street dogs in many countries, but if you have visited the Pyramids of Giza in Cairo, you might have seen the animal cruelty there is, and the amount of street dogs and its conditions.
The project requieres (50USD) $1,000.00 Egyptian Pounds per dog for the whole process (Catching, medications, sterilization, treatments after surgery, food, process of adoption/safety releasing).
Why sterilization?
Government is often poisoning dogs around the touristic area to avoid tourist complains.
Animal Protection Foundation made a street dog inventory in the touristic area and they found 87 dogs around, the goal is to rise founds for sterilizing as many dogs as possible, to control the birth numbers starting from the pyramids.
Traceability and transparency compromise:
In our webpage https://ecostepsac.org we will have a page exclusively to share and keep the transparency of the correct use of the founds, pictures of the dog captured, sheltered, sterilized, putted on adoption/or released in a safer area (every dog is given a number, this will be match with every 50USD received).
