BHFL Business Academy offers training and coaching programs for women and minority business owners to increase their participation and increase good-paying jobs to add to a more inclusive economy.

We believe small businesses drive local economies and are the backbone of the American economy. They are the foundation of economic growth, job creation, and community sustainability. Women and minority business owners represent more than half of all employer firms but account for less than one-third of job creation.

Women and minority business owners' success is a proven pathway to build income, independence, and financial wealth for themselves, their families, and their employees. With the proper training, coaching, resources, and support to unleash their potential, they inject life and vitality into communities, provide quality jobs, and boost prosperity for all.

But we can't do all this important work without your help. You can help us continue to support women and minority business owners through voluntary donations of any size. These tax-deductible donations will aid in our efforts to remain a leading advocate for women and minority business owners by offering training, coaching, advice, and more that help supports a more thriving and inclusive economy supported by the local business ownership ecosystem.

How Your Donations Are Used

60% of your donations will be used as scholarship funds for small businesses that qualify for financial assistance. Your donation can help us:

10% to cover printing expense for the 12-Step Signature Workbook to give to program participants.
10% to cover social media and outreach to market to diverse business communities and associations. Create engaging narratives and short videos to educate and promote training and coaching programs to help women and minority-owned businesses grow and add jobs for local communities.
20% of donations will support labor costs for trainers and coaches.
