All animals receive veterinary care during their stay at Orcas APS. An initial exam is performed upon arriving at the shelter so that we can care for each animal's needs in the best way possible.
Every animal is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and wormed before going to it's new home. Additional care such as flea treatments, grooming, dental work, nail trims, and treatment for any medical concerns are performed as needed.
Many of the animals at the shelter are senior pets that owners are no longer able to care for. Senior pets often incur more medical expenses due to ailing health.
Your donation allows us to make sure each of our animals is able to receive the care it deserves.
