Flamenco Works launches its new Semillas program for those who commit to donating repeatedly each and every month. We know that sustained support is the way our programs will thrive, and ask you to join us.
"Semillas", meaning seeds in Spanish, is drawn from the quote "They tried to bury us, but didn't know we were seeds". This quote represents the strength and resilience of our community and cultural heritage to thrive despite marginalization and systemic violence. We honor each and everyone's contribution, and know that it is not how much you give, but that you give. We uphold that you don't have to be of a certain economic class to make a financial impact. Your semilla, your seed, is an essential and beautiful part of our garden. This is why our goal is to bring on 100 monthly donors giving $10 or more. For as little at 33 cents/day you can invest in our youth and invest in the vitality of our communities.
