We invite you to travel to our Visitor Village in the mountains 400km southwest of Chiang Mai, Thailand to have the unique experience of hiking in the jungle to observe elephants in their natural habitat, where they are able to be themselves, to wander and socialize as they choose. There is no riding, bathing, tricks or asking the elephants to perform unnatural behaviors. This is truly an unforgettable experience to see elephants how nature intended.  In addition to learning from and being with elephants in their natural habitat, you will have the opportunity to experience life with the local Karen Hill Tribe people and learn about the issues facing endangered Asian elephant conservation.

Through our program you will spend 7 days, 6 nights in our Visitor Village, which is a short walk to the main Karen Hill Tribe community. Our comfortable and welcoming accommodations offer traditional local Karen style bamboo huts, with shared western style toilets and showers. Three delicious and satisfying plant based meals will be served per day as well as snacks as you wish. You will be able to unplug and reconnect with nature, while spending time with like-minded individuals from all over the globe. There will be a variety of culture-rich activities to immerse yourself in, as well as downtime to rest and rejuvenate. A secluded open air platform is available for you to enjoy your yoga or meditation practice. During your time with us, we expect you will be inspired to connect with fellow visitors and staff, and feel motivated to take the message of the endangered Asian elephant home with you. Pickup in Chiang Mai is at 8am on Monday and drop off in Chiang Mai is at 4pm on Sunday. Additional transportation outside of scheduled program transportation will incur an additional fee.

To best accommodate you, we encourage you to make your reservation early. For those who may be interested in hosting a retreat, we would love to put together a custom program with you. Please email us at [email protected] for more information.

A $200 USD non refundable deposit will reserve your spot and the remaining balance of $675 USD will be due one month prior to your arrival. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at our project soon!
