Integrated-Forensic Peer Recovery Specialist (i-FPRS) National Participant Training

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAINING:
Peer Recovery Specialists who work with individuals who have justice-involvement and are embedded in the criminal justice system are encouraged to attend this training. At the conclusion of the training, Peer Recovery Specialists will have expertise and knowledge, partnered with their experiences, to assist justice-involved individuals in addressing the barriers they may face when navigating criminal justice, behavioral health, and community-based settings. Domains covered include Criminal Justice: Mentoring and Education, Recovery and Wellness, Advocacy, and Ethical Responsibility. This training is 4 full days offered virtually with Peer Recovery Specialists from around the nation. This training offers 24 hours that may be used towards certification (please check with your state or certification board).
COST: $350
Cost is per participant and includes a participant manual. Upon registering, please provide your mailing address to where your manual will be shipped. Those interested in this training are encouraged to ask their organization about professional development funds.
This training is limited to 30 participants. Please register early to ensure you receive your manual in advance of the training. You must register and complete payment, otherwise you will not be permitted to enter the training. There will be no refunds available for registration. Each participant must attend the full training to receive their certificate of attendance.
