Goal
Ray Williams served as the School-Based Case Manager at J.P. King, Jr. Middle School in the City of Franklin for over 20 years. To say he was a positive influence in the lives of a generation of youth is an understatement. Ray always had a smile, a listening ear, and firm guidance for any youth who needed additional support. Ultimately, he was instrumental in providing a positive barrier to keep middle school students from coming into contact with the juvenile justice system in the 5th District.
Ray and his youth love the Annual Charter Boat Fishing Trip every summer. For many of his youth, it was the first time to be on a boat, first time at the Oceanfront, and the furthest they had ever been from the City of Franklin. We are seeking to raise $2,500. At this time, we've reached 30% of this goal!
Additionally, Ray was so proud when one of his former youth would call at their high school graduation and tell him their plans for college. Thus, we are working with Ray's family and friends to offer a scholarship opportunity for Ray's former youth. We are also seeking to raise $2,500 for the scholarship fund.
Will you join us today to carry Ray’s legacy forward and help enrich the lives of countless youth in the City of Franklin?
