We are visiting Marrakech from Florida. On our way to the Atlas Mountains, our guide, Latifa, pointed out the sign for Jarjeer. As an animal lover, and rescue junkie, I asked if we could stop by. Charles gave us a tour and we were very moved by all the gentle souls, for whom you are guardian angels. So very grateful for people like you and your staff.

A wonderful tour of Jarjeer from Charles today followed by a truly brilliant and interesting chat and glass of wine with both Susan and Charles to top it off perfectly, absolutely love everything that Jarjeer do for the working animals of Morocco, I have followed you for years and having the opportunity to see the work you do in person was a privilege. I have decided to donate some of my birthday money to this incredible charity after witnessing some of these poor creatures over worked and in poor condition whilst on holiday in Marrakesh. I hope that this helps with some of the work that you continue to do.

Your work is life changing for the 200+ equines lucky enough to be in your care, but it is also slowly changing attitudes towards all those working animals that are not so fortunate.

Thanks for your work, it really makes me happy that I can contribute so you can carry on helping these hard working animals. They really deserve a good retirement.

I loved visiting Marrakech but my heart broke when I saw the horrible conditions donkeys, horses and mules live under. I shed a lot of tears because I could tell these beautiful animals were in pain and suffering. And it was impossible to turn a blind eye. So grateful I got to visit your refugee and got to meet everyone in person and I spent time with these loving animals; to see they have a safe place to rest and spend their last days. I’ll spread the word and I hope you are able to rescue more :) thank you again ❤️ and by the way, Jasper, what a sweet and loving baby you are. Keep wagging your tail ❤️
