The Pets for the Elderly Foundation helps pay the fees to participating animal shelters throughout the United States for senior citizens (age 60 and over) who adopt a companion dog or cat from a participating shelter.

Since going national in 2002, PFE has facilitated 100,000 shelter animal adoptions for seniors. We’re marking this milestone with a campaign to raise $100,000 by the end of 2021 so that we can facilitate the next 100,000 adoptions!
