Perennial celebrates all things scrappy, but we need your help to make the hustle happen. We teach folks to see potential in the waste around us and provide the DIY skills needed to make transformations possible. From old windows turned to into mini greenhouses, to magazines folded into gift bows, every ounce diverted from the landfill is a commitment to a less wasteful world. Donate your dollars to support the scrappy organization sparking a reuse revolution!


In 2023, Perennial:

  • Taught more than 1,650 folks DIY skills through classes at our South City Workshop
  • Offered 346 hours of free studio time along with materials and community to women without access to creative space in our ReCreate Studio Program
  • Expanded clothing swaps to serve 572 people
  • Brought hands-on crafting to 318 participants at community events through our Green Neighbors Program
  • Diverted 21,703 pounds from the landfill through classes, clothing swaps, project supplies, and community outreach efforts. Our biggest year to date!


Our participants, members, teaching artists, and volunteers make Perennial’s work possible, but we need your dollars to continue to build a scrappy future.


Every dollar counts as our team hustles to keep creative reuse fun, achievable, and accessible for all. We are humbled (and overwhelmed) with the requests for community collaborations and partnerships. 


In 2024, we plan to hire additional team members to increase our impact, and meeting our end-of-year giving goal will go a long way towards making this possible. Your donations help us say yes to innovative efforts like our annual Repair Fair, artistic transformations including the ReDesign Showcase, and community collaborations through our Green Neighbors program.
