The work you do for these poor animals is fantastic. I would love to give more but unfortunately do not have the means. Pen, you and your team are a shining example of the better angels of human nature. The donkeys and dogs (and goats and all the others) cannot say thank you so I will. I watched Pen's desperate evacuation of his staff/cats/dogs from Afghanistan in August 2021, on the news whilst undergoing chemotherapy. It has stuck firmly in my mind, possibly because I was at a low ebb myself at the time. I have just read his book and I just want to say Pen, I think what you have achieved in the face of adversity is absolutely amazing. I truly hope you find some peace and happiness..
