The University of Pittsburgh and surrounding campus students are a special community. One that has seen its fair share of tough times. Yet the kids are strong. They are proud to be Jewish, and I know they will continue to be proud. They show up strong week in and week out. Hundreds attend weekly Shabbat dinners at Chabad, programs, classes, candlelightings, Tefillin and most importantly caring for each other. regardless of our backgrounds, we know the power of survival comes from being united.
Dear Northshore community -Thank you for standing with us, it's because of people like yourselves that the next generation of Jewish leaders will be born. Thank you, Northshore, and when this is over, whether by you or by us, we would love to find a way to celebrate together!
