In memory of MN - the life and future I thought I would have with him. I loved him, and he loved me, but in the end he did not choose me. Love is a verb, not just a feeling. He chose his daily routine over our partnership we shared. They say if love someone, set them free. If they return to you then it’s meant to be…but all I hear is silence as quiet as a cherry blossom sunrise. I still love him and maybe always will, but here’s to new beginnings and choosing me. On March 25, 2025, my husband and I will celebrate 25 years of marriage. On our honeymoon in 2000, we visited Washington, D.C. One of our favorite memories is the beauty of the cherry blossoms. Each time I see a cherry tree I am reminded of all the love and joy we have shared over the years.
