Donate $50+ and we will plant and geo-tag a beautiful Santa Monica Mountain native on your behalf at our new Kitz Creek restoration site this Fall and Winter.
Our latest restoration site at Headwaters Corner is fondly named Kitz Creek. Aptly named after long-time program manager and co-director of MRT, Jo Kitz, who passed away in 2018. This restoration project will remove one of Jo’s Santa Monica Mountains invasive nemesis, black mustard, and re-establish a healthy riparian habitat in one of the Los Angeles River Systems’ tributaries.
