The shelter operates primarily from community support. Volunteer community groups provide the meal services and an increasing volume of patrons task the staff to provide the services necessary to move patrons to the next step of self-sufficiency. The shelter operates year-round and has seen an increase in the need for peer support and consultation. The shelter provides emergency shelter, showers and hygiene items along with needs assessment, advocacy, and educational programs.
