In the Old West, trappers in the Rocky Mountains went for months without coming into contact with other humans. Eventually, they ran out of supplies and would need to visit civilization. Unfortunately, that civilization was far away from the work they needed to do.
Soon traders realized the value of bringing their goods to the trappers. They began to organize gatherings near the mountains, where trappers could get the supplies they needed without having to leave their work to do it. They called these gatherings Rendezvous.
Camp Eden is the trapper in this situation; we'd like you (the traders) to help us keep at our work by providing funds necessary for the general operations of Camp Eden. By joining the Rendezvous, you are committing to help underwrite Camp Eden's operational expenses.
