Sorry for the long comment.. As someone of Cossack heritage, the great-grandchild of Ukrainian patriots murdered by the Bolsheviks for resisting occupation, grandchild of a woman from Bucha who at 16 survived the Siege of Kiev by the Nazi's AND Battle of Berlin along with my maternal grandparents who survived concentration camps, this war has really been hard on my heart. Being a former US service member, I wish I could be there helping in person, but being disabled and immune-compromised its just not possible and I would be selfish being more of a danger to those around me than a blessing. I don't have much money, but I have been giving what I can and these fundraisers are my way of helping and feeling like I can still do something to save lives. Thank you Jake for everything you've done and continue to do! Слава Україні!
