The full scale invasion of Ukraine began on the day of my 60th birthday so I have felt drawn to help whenever possible. Happy 40th Jake! Am donating $40 in honor of your awesome reporting and support to the brave ppl of Ukraine!

As some one who shares Jake's birthday of May 14th, I have decided to donate £1 for every year of my life now that I have turned Sixty Five. As one who has grown up in the heartland of British military tradition and history, I know the hardships of war and if my donation helps to reunite one more Ukrainian hero with their mother at wars end then I will consider my duty fulfilled. I am no longer fit for active service but I stand with Ukraine in spirit. If Putin's cronies come calling, give them hell and never surrender an inch. Glory to Ukraine.

Every man and woman fighting to defend Ukraine is a hero. After this war is won let no one forget these heroes.
