Ibusa Community Development Union (UK) meets on the first Sunday of every month to debate the welfare and social issues affecting the community's natives in the UK and, in particular, in Ibusa, Delta State, Nigeria.
The ICDU (UK) recently started construction on a community hall in Ibusa as a platform for a secure location where the community can organise meetings, socialise, and celebrate community festivals in a more conducive environment with water and sanitary facilities instead of in pitched tents open to inclement weather and unsanitary conditions.
The UK branch has taken it upon herself to construct the community hall in order to make this vision a reality. We have purchased a plot of land and started the construction process. We need more money, so we've started this fundraising effort to ask for donations from people near and far who can help us finish the structure, furnish it, and install a borehole water system.
