We have reached an important juncture with the Depot, moving from a reconstruction operation to a museum/sustaining operation, as well as continuing with new projects such as the 1892 Switch Tower and Bernie Rudberg Memorial Pavilion.
The tower has restrooms which will serve the community at large and visitors can rest in the shade or picnic in the pavilion. They will allow us to accommodate school visits, attract community groups and regional tours to the depot as an historic and cultural landmark.
We completed the next major project to move a caboose to the property and now working to restore it. It will be a tremendous addition to Depot Park and clarify the mission and history of the Depot.
