I am happy to honor Bishop Elaine’s ministry and retirement by making a gift to the Circle of Indigenous Ministries. It is a fitting capstone to her work in Mountain Sky with the descendants of the Sand Creek Massacre, the Acts of Repentance for the UMC, and now the establishment of the Circle of Indigenous Ministries in the Greater Northwest Area. I’m grateful to have worked with Bishop Elaine in both the Rocky Mountain and Oregon-Idaho Conferences.

Lynn and I welcome the opportunity to support indigenous ministries in appreciation for the service Bishop Elaine has provided to the GNW Area. We wish her and Clint happiness in their retirement.

This gift from the Klindworth Endowment is to go towards the campaign to honor Bishop Stanovsky in support of the ministry with indigenous peoples. Your strong leadership and determination to protect the most vulnerable people in congregations across the northwest helped us set COVID protocols that kept our kids safe when they were too young to be vaccinated.
