What is a "Heart Dog" you might wonder? A “Heart Dog” is that one dog who wiggles their way into the deepest part of your heart leaving a lasting imprint of a love that time cannot fade.

Many of us have been fortunate enough to have experienced a “Heart Dog” in our lives. Orcas Animal Shelter is excited to offer an opportunity to honor that unforgettable friend.

With a $500 donation, you can receive a commemorative plaque to be displayed in our small dog yard. This plaque will not only honor your “Heart Dog,” but it will also support essential projects that create a cleaner, safer environment for our shelter dogs - all of whom are waiting to become someone's “Heart Dog” one day.

ESSENTIAL PROJECTS:

- Installation of turf to help keep our adoptable dogs clean and safe from diseases and parasites that can be found in the grass and mud.

- Purchase of a bench for visitors and volunteers to enjoy while spending quality time with the dogs.
